Deleting Your Data

Version 2026-08-03 · effective

Draft for owner and legal review. The routing, versioning, and acceptance mechanics around this document are production code. The prose is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by counsel.

This page is the stable address for one question: how do I get my data out of PpcGPT, and what actually happens when I do. It expands section 8 of the Privacy Policy, which stays the shorter summary.

Everything below describes what is built today. Where something is not built, it says so rather than describing an intention.

1. Revoke PpcGPT's access to Amazon

You can do this without us, and it takes effect immediately.

In Seller Central, go to Apps and Services → Manage Your Apps and revoke the PpcGPT authorization. In the Amazon Ads console, remove PpcGPT's access to the advertiser profile.

Revoking stops all future data collection. It does not delete what we already hold — for that, use one of the next two sections.

2. Delete a store

Self-service, in the product: Settings → Stores → delete.

You confirm by typing the store's name. Deletion then waits seven days, during which you can cancel it from the same page. Nothing is removed during the grace period.

When the seven days elapse we remove, for that store:

  • the Amazon business data we collected — orders, settlements and fees, inventory, listings, advertising and search-performance records;
  • the unit costs and supplier invoices you entered or uploaded for it;
  • its operational records — sync history, drafts, approvals, and alerts;
  • the stored Amazon authorization, if no other store you keep is using it. The stored refresh token is destroyed, not merely unlinked.

Deleting your last store does not close your account. Your login and your account remain until you ask us to remove the account data.

3. Delete your entire account

By request during the beta. Mail privacy@ppcgpt.ai from the address on the account and say you want the account deleted. We complete it within seven days and confirm in writing what was removed and when.

We are being deliberately plain about this: a self-service account-deletion control is not yet built. The store deletion in section 2 is, and it is the one that removes your Amazon business data. Account deletion removes the account record, its stores and business data, your team's memberships, and any outstanding invitations.

The Supabase Auth login identity is not deleted automatically today. It no longer grants access to the deleted account, but the authentication record can remain while we finish the safeguards needed for people who belong to more than one account. We will not claim that the login itself was deleted until that control exists.

If you have several stores, account deletion covers all of them; you do not need to delete each one first.

4. What we keep, and why

Two things survive a deletion, both deliberately:

  • A record that the deletion happened — what was removed and when. We keep it for one year so that we can answer "did you actually delete my data?" later. It contains no business data.
  • Backups. Our infrastructure providers keep point-in-time backups that age out on their own schedule, within 30 days. We do not restore a deleted account from a backup.

We do not keep your Amazon authorization, your business data, or your uploaded invoices past the deletion.

5. Your data is never used to train a model

Deleted or not. We do not train models on your data, and we do not benchmark your data against other sellers. This is stated in section 4 of the Privacy Policy and it is not conditional on deletion.

6. If something is unclear or does not work

Mail privacy@ppcgpt.ai. If a deletion does not appear to have completed, say so in that mail and we will check it and reply — a deletion request that silently fails is a bug, and we would like to hear about it.
